Customer care

Care.

Care depends on the material and finish. This sample guide gives the page a starting structure; replace it with advice checked for your own collection.

  1. 01

    Before cleaning

Read the material and finish information for the piece. A method suitable for plain silver may be unsuitable for plating, coatings or stones. Follow the maker’s instructions before using a cleaning solution or polishing product.

  2. 02

    After wearing

Use a clean, soft cloth to remove surface moisture. Keep the piece dry before storing it, and avoid leaving jewellery in contact with cosmetics or household cleaning products.

  3. 03

    Storage

Store pieces separately so harder edges do not rub against softer surfaces. Close clasps and lay chains out before putting them away. A fitted box or individual pouch can help prevent tangles.

  4. 04

    Damage and repairs

If a clasp is loose, a setting moves or an edge becomes sharp, stop wearing the piece and ask its maker or a qualified jeweller to inspect it. This demonstration does not accept repair bookings.
